The Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (RQF) is a UK-regulated vocational qualification designed for people who are, or want to be, assessors — individuals who carry out formal assessment of other learners' vocational skills, knowledge, and competence.
Achieving this certificate means you can work as a qualified assessor — either in education, training organisations, or within workplaces where formal assessment against national standards or vocational criteria is needed. The Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (RQF) is a UK-regulated vocational qualification designed for people who are involved in quality assuring assessment activity in educational or training settings.
Learners will develop skills and knowledge in areas such as: principles and purposes of internal quality assurance, planning and evaluating quality assurance of assessment, monitoring and improving assessment practices, managing information and records related to quality assurance, and ensuring that assessment decisions meet required standards.
This qualification is suitable for:
- Existing internal quality assurance staff in training organisations or assessment centres.
- Assessors who are taking on IQA duties.
